From the very first dive, you’ll be learning in some of the best dive spots in the world, surrounded by Auckland’ vibrant marine life and clear, temperate waters. Whether you’re exploring reefs, wrecks, or underwater caves, you’ll be gaining hands-on experience while working toward your Diploma in Professional Scuba Instruction. You’ll also receive internationally recognized PADI qualifications, including PADI Divemaster and PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) certifications, making you fully equipped to teach and lead divers anywhere in the world.
The learning experience goes beyond just learning how to dive. Dive HQ Auckland offer a comprehensive curriculum that blends theory with practical applications. Expect intensive classroom instruction, but also field training that’s tailored to push your limits and build your skills in real-world dive situations.
You’ll work closely with highly experienced instructors, all of whom bring years of dive industry knowledge to the table.
This program doesn’t just teach you how to dive – it teaches you how to teach others to dive. By the end of your year, you’ll be ready to run your own courses, lead dive trips, and even work as a dive guide or instructor in some of the most beautiful locations on the planet. Along the way, you’ll gain invaluable leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, making you a confident and capable PADI scuba professional.
But it’s not just about work – it’s also about the experience of a lifetime. Auckland itself is an incredible base for your training. The city offers access to a dynamic, cosmopolitan lifestyle combined with natural beauty. In College and Training Monday to Thursday, the three days off from Friday to Sunday give students ample time to run a part-time job..

Once you are qualified as a Divemaster you will have the option to start your internship assisting on PADI Openwater Diver Learn to Dive Courses and get hands-on experience.
